Samsung Unveils Galaxy Tab S12 and Watch 9 on GSMA Database

A recent report has outlined Samsung’s hardware roadmap post the Galaxy S26 launch.

All attention is currently on Samsung with the impending launch of the Galaxy S26 series later this month. However, what can we expect for the remainder of the year?

Smartprix has released a report on Samsung’s plans for tablets and wearables based on sightings of various Samsung devices in the GSMA IMEI database.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S12+, Galaxy Watch 9, and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 have all been spotted with their respective model numbers.

Although specific details are not confirmed, there are some noteworthy observations to be made from these listings.

Firstly, it is apparent that there is no standard Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 model included. While last year saw the release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and a regular Galaxy Tab S11, this year seems to focus on a more premium and larger-screened lineup.

Regarding Samsung’s wearable strategy, the standout feature is the introduction of the second-generation Ultra watch. The original Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra debuted in mid-2024, offering a rugged smartwatch option tailored for pro-athletes.

Considering the timing of these GSMA IMEI sightings and the usual six-month timeframe to launch, a probable launch window around September can be anticipated. This aligns with the expected releases of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8, indicating a busy third quarter for Samsung.
