The Rise of Saporo: A Leader in Graph-Native Identity Security

In a significant development for the cybersecurity industry, Swiss startup Saporo has secured €7 million in Series A funding. Specializing in graph-native identity security, Saporo offers a unique approach that allows defenders to view enterprise environments from the perspective of potential attackers.

Leading the funding round is TIN Capital, with notable participation from G+D Ventures, CDP Venture Capital, XAnge, Lightbird VC, and Session VC. Each investor brings strategic value to Saporo’s growth trajectory. TIN Capital will support expansion in Northern Europe, G+D Ventures will drive market development in Germany, and CDP Venture Capital will focus on opportunities in Italy.

Co-founder and CEO Olivier Eyries highlights the importance of Saporo’s innovative approach: “The identity security market is complex, with ITDR and access graphs often failing to address systemic risks. In large enterprises, identity graphs can reveal over a billion attack paths, making traditional approaches ineffective.”

Looking at the broader landscape, funding rounds in related areas are relatively scarce. However, Saporo’s Series A funding stands out as one of the largest in the identity security space in 2025. Comparatively, other startups like WiseBee and Bsure received smaller funding rounds, indicating the early-stage nature of the sector.

Eyries emphasizes Saporo’s impact on risk reduction: “Our customers have seen significant improvements within the first year, eliminating around eighty percent of potential attack paths. With the support of our pan-European investor group, we are scaling our operations to meet the demand from large enterprises and regulated sectors across Europe and the US.”
