Rumors suggest that Samsung is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated Project Moohan XR headset this month. A recent leak from Android Headlines provides an early glimpse into the potential specifications of the device.

Android Headlines indicates that the Project Moohan XR headset could boast a 4K micro-OLED display with an impressive 4,032 pixels per inch. This surpasses the 3,386ppi offered by the Apple Vision Pro. The device may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 processor, supporting 4.3K resolution at 90fps per eye.
Control and Features
Reports suggest that the Project Moohan XR headset may come equipped with various sensors on its front and interior, enabling users to interact with the device through gestures, eye movements, and voice commands. Additionally, the inclusion of Google’s Gemini AI assistant has been hinted, based on previous demos of the device.
Design and Battery Life
According to Android Headlines, the Project Moohan XR headset weighs 545 grams and may offer up to two hours of general use or 2.5 hours of video playback on a single charge. The presence of a power connector on the left side that links to a battery pack has also been mentioned. Additional features include a dial for adjusting the head strap, inner cushioning, and detachable light shields to block external light.
