European MusicTech Landscape in 2025
By 2025, the European MusicTech and entertainment startup sector witnessed a series of early-stage and growth funding rounds, providing context for OOVIE Studios’ €164k fundraising achievement.
London’s fan3 secured €4.2 million to scale its fan-centric ticketing technology for live music events, while British startup Mozart AI raised €616k for an AI-powered music creation tool. Belgium’s Breakevent also closed an €876k round for an AI platform supporting concert operations.
This cluster of funding in 2025 demonstrates a keen interest in music production tools, live event innovations, and AI-driven music technology. OOVIE’s €164k funding for its interactive music-film platform signifies its early-stage position within this dynamic niche.
Founding and Mission of OOVIE Studios
Established in May 2025 in Lugano, OOVIE Studios was founded by CEO Riccardo Acciarino, CCO Marco Seco, CTO Ignacio Palladino, COO Giulio Casagrande, and CMO Lorenzo Ramon. The team combines expertise in technology, live production, and entrepreneurship to bring musicians’ visions to life through Music Interactive Movies.
OOVIE Studios addresses the challenges faced by classical music in engaging younger and diverse audiences who crave immersive multimedia experiences. While traditional performances maintain artistic excellence, they often lack the interactive elements expected by modern audiences, hindering the sector’s expansion and connection with new generations.
Recognizing this gap, OOVIE Studios developed technology for interactive films where narratives evolve in real-time based on musical interpretation and audience interaction, creating unique and engaging experiences.
This innovative approach bridges the gap between music events seeking innovative formats for younger audiences and brands looking for deeper community engagement.
An exemplary case is the Music Interactive Movie produced for Dell Technologies, showcased at the Dell Technologies Forum across various cities and later featured by LaFil Filarmonica di Milano during the LIVE MUSIC. LIVING FILMS. tour stop in Milan.
