Tekken 8: Rise of the Shadows

Bandai Namco Introduces New Fighter, Miary Zo, to Tekken 8 Season 2 Roster
Bandai Namco has recently unveiled the latest addition to the Tekken 8 Season 2 roster, Madagascan fighter Miary Zo. Scheduled for release on December 2nd for early access players and December 5th for the general public, Miary Zo brings a unique twist to the game with her connection to the fallen fighting god, Ogre, who was defeated by Jin. Fans can anticipate an exciting gameplay experience with this new character.
During the gameplay trailer, Miary Zo showcases her skills in martial arts, including capoeira, and incorporates parkour elements into her fighting style. Furthermore, she possesses the ability to summon a staff to execute powerful moves and draws inspiration from various animal forms she has studied, adding a dynamic layer to her combat repertoire.
Our Tekken 8 review reflects the game’s strong start in 2024, with Nick praising the series for its continued excellence. While Tekken 8 may present a slightly steeper learning curve compared to Street Fighter 6, the game offers a wide range of modes and enhancements that cater to both new and seasoned players. With ongoing updates and improvements, Tekken 8 is positioned to evolve into a must-play title for fighting game enthusiasts.
