Mouse P.I. For Hire Release Date Delayed
Exciting news for fans of the upcoming game, Mouse P.I. For Hire, as Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios have announced a slight delay in its release date. Originally set to launch on March 19th, the cartoony first person shooter will now be hitting the shelves on April 16th. The reason behind this decision is the developers’ desire to fine-tune the game’s performance before it reaches the eager hands of players.
Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios expressed their thoughts on the delay in a recent statement, stating, “Today, we have an important update to share with you all. We have made the decision to move the release date of MOUSE: P.I. for Hire to April 16, 2026. As we approach the final stages of development, we want to ensure we are taking the extra time and care needed to make MOUSE: P.I. for Hire an experience to remember. We remain unwavering in our goal to deliver you the best game we can, and that will take just an extra few weeks. We are excited to share more of the game with you in the lead up to launch. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your incredible support.”
In Mouse: P.I. For Hire, players step into the shoes of private investigator Jack Pepper, voiced by the talented Troy Baker, in a noir-inspired first-person shooter with a 1930s animation vibe. The game is set in the bustling city of Mouseburg, where Jack’s initial task of aiding a distressed damsel quickly evolves into a deep dive into the city’s criminal underbelly. Players will have the opportunity to explore various locations such as city streets, sewers, a casino, a film studio, and the docks, each filled with loot, collectibles, and clues to crack the case.
Mouse P.I. For Hire will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
