The Craze of Collecting: The Charizard-Shaped Cheeto Phenomenon

I think you're all a bit too obsessed with Pokemon, because what do you mean a Charizard-shaped Cheeto is selling for thousands of dollars

Pokemania Continues: Charizard-Shaped Flamin’ Hot Cheeto Sells for $4250

Pokemania is still going strong, evident in the recent auction where Pokemon fans bid over four figures on a Charizard-shaped Flamin’ Hot Cheeto.

The Pokemon franchise has a massive following, with many of us having experienced the craze at some point. While some may have outgrown it, others still enjoy the older titles and trading card game. However, the question remains – why would someone spend over $4000 on a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto shaped like Charizard?

Believe it or not, this is a real auction item available on Goldin, a leading auction house for trading cards and collectibles. The Cheeto, dubbed “Cheetozard,” bears a striking resemblance to the Pokemon character, complete with a custom frame resembling a Pokemon card.

What’s surprising is that a bid of $4250 has been placed on this unique snack, despite its age of up to seven years. While some may find this extravagant, others find value in such collectibles.

For those not interested in pricey snacks, a new Pokemon Presents presentation is scheduled for the upcoming Pokemon Day. This event is expected to showcase Pokemon Legends: Z-A, offering fans a closer look at the highly anticipated game.
