The Evolution of the Suzuki Swift Sport: A 2018 Success Story
Unveiling the 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport: A Closer Look
The 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport, a revolutionary addition to the automotive industry, outshone its predecessor in every aspect. With an engaging drivetrain and a weight of approximately 970 kg, this model proved to be a game-changer. Not only was it a delight to drive, but it also offered excellent value for money, making it a cost-effective option for car enthusiasts.
Measuring around 3.9 meters in length, the 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport shed approximately 80 kg compared to its predecessor, making it a lightweight contender in its class. This four-door hatchback boasted equipment equivalent to a two-seat Mazda MX-5 with a fabric roof.
Under its hood, the Suzuki Swift Sport housed a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger, delivering 138 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 170 lb-ft of torque at 2500 rpm. It sprinted from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.5 seconds, courtesy of its six-speed manual transmission, and achieved a top speed of 130 mph.

Stepping inside the vehicle, one would be greeted by a sporty steering wheel, red accents on the dashboard and doors, and comfortable bucket seats. The infotainment system featured a user-friendly center screen with seamless integration of satellite navigation, CarPlay, Android Auto, and Apple.

The rear seats of the Swift Sport accommodated two passengers comfortably, offering ample headroom and large side windows. With a seating capacity of five (2 in the front, 3 in the back), the vehicle provided a boot space of approximately 265 liters, albeit without a spare wheel.

Equipped with 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, a rearview camera, Bluetooth/USB connectivity, climate control, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen, the 2018 Swift Sport was packed with essential features for a modern driving experience.

In the United Kingdom, the 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport was priced at approximately $20,500 excluding VAT, translating to a total cost of $25,000 and above with VAT included.
