Microsoft Launches Security Store for SaaS Solutions and AI Agents
Microsoft is introducing a new Security Store, a dedicated platform offering security software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions and AI agents. This initiative is part of Microsoft’s broader strategy to promote its Sentinel security platform to businesses. The Security Store will feature Microsoft Security Copilot AI agents, which can be customized by security teams to combat evolving threats.
Microsoft Security Store: A Hub for SaaS Solutions and AI Agents
The Microsoft Security Store is tailored for security professionals seeking to purchase and deploy SaaS solutions and AI agents from Microsoft’s ecosystem partners. Leading companies such as Darktrace, Illumio, Netskope, Perfomanta, and Tanium are among the vendors featured in the store. These solutions encompass threat protection, identity and device management, and other security aspects.
Seamless Integration with Microsoft Security Solutions
Many of the solutions available in the Security Store are designed to integrate smoothly with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview, and Security Copilot. This simplifies the onboarding process for businesses relying on Microsoft for their security needs, leading to faster procurement and deployment times.
Empowering Security Teams with AI Agent Customization
In addition to the Security Store, Microsoft is enabling Security Copilot users to develop their own AI agents. Through a tool similar to Copilot Studio, security teams can now create customized AI agents without the need for coding. These self-built Security Copilot agents can also be accessed in the Security Store starting today.
