Saber Interactive Reveals Exciting World War Z DLC Featuring The Walking Dead

Saber Interactive has announced a thrilling new DLC for World War Z that is sure to excite fans. The upcoming DLC, set to release in January, will introduce The Walking Dead into the world of World War Z. Players can look forward to a new story campaign featuring iconic characters such as Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Negan. Additionally, three new locations will be added to the game: the Prison, Alexandria Safe Zone, and Grady Memorial Hospital.

“Saber has established strong partnerships within the horror genre, making the collaboration with The Walking Dead a natural fit for World War Z,” said Matthew Karch, CEO and co-founder of Saber Interactive. “Bringing these two worlds together has been a long-time dream of mine, and I’m thrilled to see it come to fruition.”

Alongside the new characters and locations, the World War Z x The Walking Dead DLC will introduce two new weapons and two weapon skins. Players can wield Michonne’s Katana and Negan’s Bat “Lucille”, as well as customize their weapons with Rick’s Revolver and Daryl’s Crossbow. A new enemy type, the Spiked Walkers, will also pose a challenge to players, requiring strategic gameplay to defeat them.

The World War Z x The Walking Dead DLC will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series XS.
