Top Android Phones with Qi Wireless Charging Support

The introduction of the Qi2 wireless charging standard dates back to early 2023, but Android smartphone manufacturers have been slow to adopt it in their latest devices. This delay has caused difficulties for consumers seeking compatible handsets, especially when compared to the abundance of accessories and power banks available for iPhone users.
Aside from the promise of faster charging speeds, with later revisions reaching up to 25 watts, Qi2 also requires the integration of embedded magnets for easier alignment and attachment of peripherals.
The fact that Apple is part of the Wireless Power Consortium, the governing body behind Qi2, and has contributed to defining the standard through its MagSafe technology, highlights the availability of compatible peripherals despite the slow adoption by Android manufacturers.
To assist consumers in identifying Android phones that officially support Qi2, we have compiled a list of compatible devices, focusing primarily on models available in North America and the EU.

The Google Pixel 10 series is among the Android phones that support Qi2.
As of now, the Google Pixel 10 lineup stands out as one of the primary Android phone manufacturers offering Qi2 compatibility.
It’s worth noting that while Google’s Pixelsnap standard aligns with Qi2, the base models of Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro maintain wireless charging speeds at 15 watts. Only the Pixel 10 Pro XL supports the more powerful Qi2.2 spec, enabling wireless charging at up to 25 watts, albeit at a premium price.
The status of other Android phone manufacturers
Despite Samsung’s announcement of multiple “Android devices supporting Qi2,” the latest Galaxy S25 series, including S25 Edge, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Fold 7, are labeled as “Qi2 ready.” This means they can wirelessly charge at 15 watts but lack the necessary magnets for seamless attachment of Qi2 accessories, requiring additional accessories or modifications.
OnePlus claims Qi2 support for the OnePlus 13, yet the weak internal magnets hinder secure attachment to Qi2 accessories. Pairing the device with OnePlus magnetic cases resolves this issue, similar to the Galaxy S25’s workaround.
When questioned about their Qi2-compatible phone plans, Motorola remains committed to incorporating the latest technology across their device range without providing specific details.
As new Qi2-enabled phones enter the market, we will strive to keep this list updated, ensuring consumers have access to the latest information on compatible devices.
Update, August 20 2025, 4:45PM ET: This article has been revised to include information on Qi2 support within the Pixel 10 family.
