Eufy Launches Innovative Outdoor Security Solution

Eufy, a leading smart home brand under Anker, has unveiled a cutting-edge outdoor security system. The highlight of this new solution is a stationary 4K wide-angle camera that can effectively detect intruders. Upon detection, it triggers a pair of 2K cameras to pan, tilt, and zoom in, allowing for a closer look at their faces from distances of up to 164 feet.

Introducing the Eufycam S4

Priced competitively at $299, the Eufycam S4 comes equipped with a 5.5W solar panel that can fully charge the camera with just an hour of direct sunlight. However, features like 24/7 continuous recording are accessible only when the camera is connected to a permanent power source. The S4 employs a sophisticated combination of radar and a passive infrared sensor to detect motion, complemented by four LED spotlights for enhanced color night vision. With 32GB of storage that can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card or further to a whopping 16TB with Anker’s HomeBase S380 accessory.

Enhanced Security with AI Core

In addition to the Eufycam S4, Eufy has introduced another groundbreaking accessory for its security cameras. Set to launch in November, the AI Core leverages an on-device AI model to swiftly detect and classify over 100 different behaviors and events from various live camera feeds. By predicting potential actions, the AI Core aims to provide users with quicker alerts, enabling them to respond promptly to any potential issues. This innovative approach eliminates the delays associated with cloud-based analysis, ensuring a more proactive security system.
