Live Streaming NFL Game Pass on DAZN
NFL Game Pass is the official online streaming service for the sport in the UK, offering live and on-demand games throughout the season. It is similar to Netflix but for American football, accessible on the web or through various devices using the app.
Game Pass is now available on DAZN, a global sports streaming service that moved a couple of seasons ago. It provides games with US broadcast commentary and halftime analysis, as well as NFL shows like Hard Knocks and A Football Life. Users can also download games to watch offline.

Understanding NFL Blackout Games
One limitation of Game Pass is the broadcasting blackout rules that apply to certain games. Sky Sports has priority for specific games, which means they will only be available on Game Pass 24 hours after the live broadcast.
DAZN states that two Sunday games each week will be subject to blackout (one at 6 pm and one at 9 pm kick-off). However, certain games are exempt from blackout, including all Monday, Thursday, and Sunday night games, U.S. Thanksgiving Day games, playoff games, Super Bowl LIX, and any postseason games.
Despite blackouts, Game Pass can be used abroad without the need for a VPN, except in the US and China.
How to Watch NFL for Free on Channel 5
For NFL fans in the UK looking for a more affordable option, Channel 5 has expanded its coverage of the sport. In addition to showing free-to-air games on Monday nights, Channel 5 now offers Sunday games as well.
With a new multi-year deal, viewers can enjoy NFL games on Sundays via Channel 5, including 6 pm and 9 pm kick-offs. However, Sky Sports has first pick on those slots, and the later kick-off will be on 5 Action, a digital-only channel.

Channel 5
Channel 5’s enhanced NFL coverage will be hosted by Dermot O’Leary, Sam Quek, and Osi Umenyiora. The new format ‘NFL: Big Game Night’ will feature studio competitions between teams representing on-field teams, providing a unique viewing experience.
Throughout the 2025 season, Channel 5 will also broadcast international NFL London and Dublin Games, Thanksgiving Day specials, three playoff games, and Super Bowl 2026, all free-to-air.
If you’re traveling during a game, refer to our guide for watching Channel 5 from abroad.
NFL Game Pass on Amazon Prime Video and YouTube

On YouTube, the monthly cost is £31.99 (cancel anytime) or £169.99 for the season. Keep in mind that the DAZN app cannot be used with this service.
Game Pass on Amazon Prime Video is available in the UK, Germany, France, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil at a flat rate of £31.99 per month, with the option to cancel anytime.

Watching NFL on Sky Sports
Sky Sports remains the primary broadcaster for NFL games on TV in the UK. With a dedicated channel on Sky 407 / Virgin Media 507, Sky offers a wide range of NFL coverage, including a new three-year deal that increases the number of games shown by almost 50%.
Sky has the first pick of games for 6 pm and 9 pm kick-offs over Channel 5, with additional games shown on channels like Sky Sports+ and Mix simultaneously. Some weeks feature three games at the 9 pm slot.
In a first, Sky Sports will broadcast all NFL International games in London and Europe, including Ireland and Spain. The coverage also includes Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night games, Monday Night Football, live NFL RedZone, Thanksgiving games, playoffs, Pro Bowl, Super Bowl, Fantasy Live, NFL Network content, and more.
