Google Chrome 141 for iOS Introduces Liquid Glass Design Tweaks

Recently, with the release of iOS 26, Google Chrome 141 made its debut, bringing with it Liquid Glass design enhancements for iPhone and iPad users.

Unlike the Android version, Chrome for iOS features a distinct interface and user experience. The latest update introduces Liquid Glass changes, starting with the Tab Grid, Incognito, Tab Group switcher, search functionality, and more.

The updated design includes modernized context menus that provide a cleaner look without blurring the background.

One noticeable change is the bottom sheet, which now features rounded corners and curved menu items for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. Settings have also been refreshed with a new Done/checkmark icon and updated on/off toggles.

Additionally, a new tab loading indicator has been introduced, adopting the iOS pinwheel style instead of the traditional circle.

Another significant change is the updated keyboard, featuring a more rounded sheet and keys. The keyboard now includes a floating rectangle above the main keyboard, providing quick access to voice search, Google Lens, and other useful keys.

It will be interesting to see how other Google apps will incorporate the Liquid Glass design. For now, Chrome leads the way with its fast implementation, showcasing a unique UI experience.

Google apps on iOS currently feature a mix of Material Theme and Material 3 designs. While some apps have received updates, others are yet to transition to the latest design standards.

Overall, the introduction of Liquid Glass design tweaks in Chrome 141 for iOS offers users a more modern and visually appealing browsing experience.
