Vivo X300 Ultra: Unveiling the Official Specs

Vivo has officially introduced its latest flagship phone, the Vivo X300 Ultra, for 2026, boasting impressive camera specifications that appeal to both amateur and professional photographers.

Significant camera enhancements

The primary 200Mp 1/1.12-inch Sony Lytia 901 sensor on the X300 Ultra surpasses the 50Mp sensor on its predecessor, promising increased detail and improved low-light performance in photos.

While the ultra-wide camera remains the same as the previous model, the 200Mp 1/1.4-inch periscope telephoto lens now utilizes the enhanced ISOCELL HP0 sensor from Samsung, doubling autofocus speed. This upgrade is particularly beneficial for capturing fast-moving subjects from a distance.

All cameras now feature full focal length OIS, with the telephoto lens boasting ‘Gimbal-Grade’ stabilization for smooth footage without the need for additional accessories like a gimbal.

Aside from hardware upgrades, the X300 Ultra comes pre-installed with a revamped Photography App that includes a 3D LUT library to assist users in selecting the right color grading for their desired photos.

Similar to other camera-centric flagships, the X300 Ultra can be paired with a dedicated photography kit, featuring a new 400mm equivalent lens, a 200mm lens, and a camera grip to enhance the photography experience.

The photography kit bears resemblance to the Professional Imaging Kit for the Honor Magic 8 Pro, hinting at a trend among flagship devices to offer similar accessories for content creators.

It’s likely that the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra, a direct competitor to the X300 Ultra, will also introduce a comparable set of accessories.

A milestone for Vivo

Aside from its camera prowess, the X300 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and house a 6600mAh battery for prolonged usage. The device supports rapid charging with 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

While Vivo’s Ultra phones typically debut in China before entering Western markets, the X300 Ultra will break this tradition by launching globally. Anticipated pricing reflects the economic climate, with a probable increase in cost compared to previous Vivo models.

The simultaneous introduction of the Vivo X300s, featuring its own photography kit, offers a more budget-friendly option for photography enthusiasts. However, it remains uncertain whether this model will be available outside of China.
