US collector cancelled his Koenigsegg Jesko order; Here's why

Manny Khoshbin Upgrades from Koenigsegg Jesko to Sadair’s Spear

Renowned car collector Manny Khoshbin recently made waves in the automotive world by canceling his order for the highly anticipated Koenigsegg Jesko. However, the reason behind this decision may surprise many, as it has nothing to do with any reported reliability issues.

Khoshbin, being a loyal customer of Koenigsegg, was offered a more exclusive and track-focused model known as Sadair’s Spear in place of the Jesko. This limited-production hypercar is lighter, more powerful, and boasts a range of performance enhancements that set it apart from the standard Jesko.

The standout features of the Sadair’s Spear include a more aggressive aero package, highlighted by an active top-mounted double-blade rear wing, refined underfloor strakes, wheel arch louvres, larger canards, and hood vents.

Under the hood, the Sadair’s Spear houses a twin-turbo V8 engine that has been meticulously tuned to deliver a staggering 1625 horsepower on E85 fuel, a significant increase from the Jesko’s 1300 horsepower. Additionally, the car sheds 35 kg of weight compared to the standard Jesko, further enhancing its power-to-weight ratio to an impressive level exceeding 1:1.

Notably, the Sadair’s Spear currently holds the record for the Goodwood Hill Climb, completing the challenging course in an impressive 47.14 seconds. It also previously held the lap record at Laguna Seca until the Czinger 21C set a new benchmark earlier this month.
