Xiaomi 18 Phones: Exclusive Detailed Specs Revealed

Leaked specifications for the upcoming Xiaomi 18 range are surfacing even before the global launch of Xiaomi 17.

Recent reports unveiled details about the Xiaomi 18 Pro model featuring dual 200Mp cameras. Now, specifics about the standard Xiaomi 18 are emerging.

A well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, shared insights on Xiaomi’s next flagship series on the Chinese social platform Weibo.

Interestingly, the regular Xiaomi 18 will not feature the top-tier chip available but will incorporate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip instead of the flagship Pro version.

Due to escalating smartphone component prices, Xiaomi is opting for the slightly lower-tier chip for its mainstream flagship model, citing the exorbitant cost of the 2nm Pro chip.

Moreover, the tipster mentioned an increase in display size for the Xiaomi 18 model, with the screen expanding from 6.3 inches to a 6.4-inch AMOLED display.

These leaked specifications were corroborated by tech blogger Anvin Raj, who shared a comprehensive list of specs for the entire Xiaomi 18 lineup.

According to Anvin Raj, only the Xiaomi 18 Ultra model will receive the costly Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, paired with faster LPDDR6 RAM.

Furthermore, both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will boast a dual 200Mp camera setup alongside a 50Mp ultra-wide lens. The standard Xiaomi 18 is set to feature a 200Mp periscope camera.

The Pro models will retain the secondary display from the Xiaomi 17 Pro, offering enhanced versatility compared to previous iterations. These models are typically exclusive to the Chinese market.

Anticipate the launch of all models except the Ultra variant in China in September, with the flagship model expected to debut in December. This timeline indicates a global release for all models in the first quarter of 2027.
