Dune: Part Three, directed by Denis Villeneuve, is set to conclude the cinematic saga of Paul Atreides based on Frank Herbert’s novel. Scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, the film will pick up 17 years after the events of the second installment, exploring the aftermath of Paul’s rise to power in the midst of a galaxy-wide war.

The movie promises to deliver a visually stunning spectacle, showcasing new planets and unseen areas of Arrakis, also known as Dune. The trailer teases breathtaking battles, intricate inventions, and captivating characters that will immerse viewers in the epic narrative.

Returning to reprise their roles are Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Zendaya as Chani, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Charlotte Rampling as Reverend Mother Mohiam, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, and Isaach de Bankolé as Farok. Additionally, Jason Momoa will make a comeback as Duncan Idaho, while Anya Taylor-Joy will have an expanded role as Alia, Paul’s sister.

One of the exciting new additions to the cast is Robert Pattinson, who will portray Scytale, a shape-shifter from the Tleilaxu community plotting against Paul. The film will also introduce Paul and Chani’s children, with Nakoa-Wolf Momoa playing Leto II Atreides and Ida Brooke portraying Ghanima Atreides.

As for ticket sales, fans can expect them to go on sale around November 13, 2026, in anticipation of the film’s global release.
