Next-gen BMW X5 & 7 Series facelift leaked!

BMW is set to unveil the highly anticipated all-new i3 on March 18, following the recent leak of images of the electric sedan. Now, leaked images of two other upcoming BMW models have surfaced online – the next-generation X5 and i7 facelift.

Next-gen BMW X5

The design of the upcoming BMW X5 is inspired by the brand’s Neue Klasse design philosophy. Similar to the new BMW i3, the X5 will showcase a slim kidney grille and a fresh LED light signature.

From the leaked image, it is evident that the X5 maintains its muscular profile with flared wheel arches and a robust rear section. The rear fascia has undergone a complete redesign, now featuring slim wraparound LEDs and a dual-tone bumper.

The next-generation X5 will be available with petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The showcased model, M60e xDrive, is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo 6-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric motor, boasting an estimated output of around 570 hp.

BMW will also introduce an all-electric variant of the SUV, the iX5.

BMW 7 Series facelift

The flagship BMW 7 Series is undergoing a significant makeover this year and will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April.

The facelifted 7 Series showcases a completely revamped front end with a more defined kidney grille, still maintaining its substantial size with an illuminated surround. The vehicle features a split headlamp setup, incorporating dual LED DRLs and main headlamps positioned on the front bumper in a separate pod.

The BMW 7 Series LCI will offer petrol and diesel powertrains upgraded to Euro 7 standards. The electric i7 will also receive similar cosmetic and feature enhancements.
