Rapidata, a Swiss company specializing in accelerating AI development through scalable, on-demand data labeling via digital ads, recently announced a successful Seed round funding of €7.2 million ($8.5 million). This funding will be used to scale their global human data network and meet the increasing demand from AI companies for faster and more reliable feedback to improve their models in a competitive market.

The Seed round was co-led by Canaan Partners and IA Ventures, with additional participation from Acequia Capital and BlueYard.

According to Jason Corkill, CEO and founder of Rapidata, “Human feedback has become the limiting factor in AI progress. Rapidata removes that ceiling by providing human judgment at a global scale and near real-time, enabling AI teams to run constant feedback loops and build systems that evolve daily. This accelerated iteration opens up new possibilities for AI innovation.”

Rapidata’s Seed round funding is part of a series of European AI and data infrastructure funding announcements highlighted by EU-Startups between 2025-2026. Other companies in this space include Qala, a Swiss data governance platform, simmetry.ai, a German synthetic data provider, Stanhope AI in London, and Agaton in Stockholm.

Rapidata’s innovative approach to data labeling addresses a critical bottleneck in AI development by significantly reducing the time and cost required to label, validate, and refine datasets for AI models. By compressing feedback cycles from months to days, Rapidata enables AI companies to iterate faster, bring products to market sooner, and scale human intelligence alongside advanced AI systems.

The company’s focus on Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) aims to streamline the process of collecting high-quality human judgments and validation data, which has traditionally been slow, expensive, and operationally complex. Rapidata’s platform offers AI teams access to a global network of human participants, enabling rapid feedback cycles that were previously time-consuming and costly.

Rapidata’s integration into existing AI workflows allows customers to request targeted human feedback on demand, reaching millions of users globally through widely used consumer applications. This approach not only speeds up the feedback process but also ensures high-quality inputs for AI models.

Jared Newman of Canaan Partners commended Rapidata’s founder, Jason Corkill, as a visionary in the AI space. He emphasized the growing demand for scalable human feedback in AI deployment and highlighted Rapidata’s positioning to serve a diverse market of foundation models, enterprise AI, and next-generation AI-driven products.

Overall, Rapidata’s innovative approach to data labeling and feedback collection is poised to revolutionize AI development by enabling faster iteration, higher-quality feedback, and enhanced model performance. Their recent Seed round funding signals investor confidence in their unique solution and the potential for further growth and impact in the AI industry. from a statement to a question:
