Remedy Entertainment Unveils Gameplay Trailer for Control Resonant Sequel
Remedy Entertainment has recently unveiled a gameplay reveal trailer for Control Resonant, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit game Control. The trailer, running for a few minutes, offers a glimpse into Dylan’s evolving abilities, the game’s combat mechanics, and the surreal world players will navigate through.
The trailer kicks off with Dylan pursuing a Resonant, navigating through a mind-bending, folded version of Manhattan reminiscent of the movie Inception. With the newly acquired Shift ability, Dylan can manipulate gravity defyingly. In terms of weaponry, he now wields a transforming tool focused on melee combat, along with a range of supernatural abilities. The game encourages players to seamlessly switch between ranged and melee combat.
The trailer teases an intense battle against a massive laser-firing whale-like creature, although this foe is not the Resonant. Instead, a hammer-wielding ballet dancer appears to be the primary antagonist. Remedy has kept many details under wraps, heightening anticipation for Control Resonant, which has secured a spot on the list of Most Wanted Games for 2026.
Control Resonant is slated for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026.
