New Convertibles from Ferrari and Porsche Set to Debut Next Month

Exciting news for automotive enthusiasts as we anticipate the launch of two new convertibles in the coming month. The highly anticipated Ferrari Amalfi Spider is scheduled to make its debut in the first half, alongside the unveiling of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cabriolet. Sources have hinted that the order books for these models will open shortly.

The development of the convertible variant of the GT3 has been in progress for some time now, with initial sightings dating back to July 2025. Recent speculations suggest that the upcoming model may be named the 911 GT3 Sport Cabriolet.

Similar to the design of the Amalfi Spider, the convertible version of the GT3 is expected to feature a retractable soft top and a unique aerodynamic package that includes distinctive vents positioned behind the front wheel arches, reminiscent of the GT3 RS. Additionally, the rear of the car is anticipated to showcase a sporty bumper with dual exhaust outlets at the center. Instead of a fixed rear wing, the convertible GT3 may adopt a retractable spoiler similar to the standard 911 Carrera.

The upcoming 911 GT3 Sport Cabriolet is likely to inherit the renowned 4.0-liter flat-6 engine, which currently generates an impressive 502 horsepower. Power will be transmitted to the rear wheels through a choice of either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed PDK transmission.
