The Most Extreme Black Series Model by Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz has introduced its most extreme Black Series model to date, inspired by the Concept AMG GT Track Sport showcased the previous year.

The latest AMG Black Series is essentially a road-legal version of a GT3 car, developed alongside the new Mercedes-AMG GT3. Mercedes intentionally chose the name “Track Sport” to signify a connection between the track performance of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and the extreme yet road-legal performance characteristic of Black Series models.

The upcoming AMG GT Black Series will be based on the second-generation AMG GT coupe, featuring numerous performance enhancements, including a custom high downforce package that mirrors the extreme design of the GT3 car.

The Black Series model boasts a large swan-neck rear wing, prominent front splitter, and a more aggressive front fascia and vented hood, along with other enhancements.

Mercedes-AMG has confirmed that the vehicle will be powered by the same V8 engine used in the brand’s GT Series racecars. However, specific technical details are yet to be disclosed.
