Ford Teases Mustang Dark Horse SC Ahead of Official Reveal

Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC Unveiled by Max Verstappen

Ford Mustang recently showcased its latest creation, the Mustang Dark Horse SC, just before its official launch. The unveiling was done through a 24-minute video on Red Bull’s YouTube channel, featuring four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen.

The video previewed the new performance car, rumored to be a model from 2026, standing alongside other racing cars and a classic Mustang.

The Dark Horse SC boasts several unique features, including distinctive front and rear designs, a large vent on the hood, custom carbon fiber wheels, a well-integrated rear wing, wider fenders, and a lowered ride height. The video hinted at a powerful engine, with the unmistakable growl of a supercharged V8.

While most details about the Dark Horse SC are still shrouded in secrecy, Ford has officially confirmed its name. The official debut of the car is scheduled for tomorrow, and enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting more information about this exciting new addition to the Dark Horse lineup.

Ford has been hinting at a successor to the iconic Shelby GT500, and the Dark Horse SC seems poised to fill that role perfectly. The previous GT500 featured a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine, while the standard Dark Horse model was equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 producing 500 horsepower. With the new Dark Horse SC on the horizon, fans can expect even greater performance and power from Ford’s latest creation.
