Samsung enthusiasts, get ready for a game-changing update! The highly anticipated One UI 9, based on Android 17, is making its way to the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE devices.

The rollout of One UI 9 has begun, starting in South Korea. Customers have already reported receiving prompts for the update on Samsung’s official support pages.

Following the pattern of the Galaxy S26 rollout, the United States is likely to be next in line within a week. Hopefully, the UK and Europe will soon follow suit.

If you’re currently using the One UI 9 beta on your 2025 Samsung smartphone, you may receive the full update notification ahead of schedule. If not, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. Make sure to install any pending updates before the One UI 9 prompt appears.

According to Samsung tipster Tarun Vats, the One UI 9 update will be a substantial 3.9GB download, particularly for the Galaxy S25 series.

As reported by GSMArena, Samsung Thailand had previously announced a scheduled One UI 9 update for these devices by September 28. It seems like everything is proceeding as planned.
