Revolutionizing Industrial Robotics: Inbolt Secures €11 Million for Cutting-Edge Vision and Intelligence Technology
Inbolt Secures €11 Million in Funding for Global Expansion
Inbolt, a cutting-edge robot intelligence company based in Paris, has successfully raised €11 million in funding. The investment will support the company’s expansion into the US and APAC regions, as well as its entry into data centers and electronics manufacturing.
The funding round was led by Shift4Good, a new investor, and supported by Bridges Climate Transition Partners. Existing investors, BNP Paribas Développement and Ora Global, also participated in the round, bringing Inbolt’s total funding to €30 million.
Rudy Cohen, co-founder and CEO of Inbolt, emphasized the importance of providing robots with real-time intelligence. He stated, “Robots have been running blind for fifty years. Fixing that isn’t about better hardware. It’s about giving every robot, regardless of make or model, the intelligence to see and adapt in real time.”
Founded in 2019 by Cohen, Albane Dersy (COO), and Louis Dumas (CTO), Inbolt’s AI technology allows robots to master various processes, parts, and stations, enabling manufacturers to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Inbolt highlighted the current limitations of industrial robots, noting that many are unable to perceive crucial details in highly automated factories, leading to operational issues and downtime. By combining 3D vision with AI software, Inbolt’s solution enables robots to adjust their actions in real time.
The company’s technology can be implemented on both new and existing production lines, offering manufacturers a cost-effective way to enhance automation without replacing existing equipment. Inbolt’s system is compatible with major robot platforms such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, and more.
Julien Baumont, Partner at Shift4Good, commended Inbolt for its innovative approach to AI in industrial settings. He expressed his support for the company’s growth and its ability to deliver impactful solutions to global manufacturers.
Inbolt plans to use the recent funding to expand its presence in the US and APAC markets, as well as venture into new sectors such as data centers and electronics manufacturing. The company already serves clients in various industries, including automotive, electronics, and data centers, with a strong presence in over 100 factories worldwide.
Notable clients of Inbolt include industry leaders such as Bosch, Beko, Flex, Ford, Stellantis, and Toyota. The company’s technology has been deployed on over 200 robots across three continents, showcasing its impact on global manufacturing operations.
