Blizzard Apologizes for Bugs in World of Warcraft’s Decor Duel Mode

Blizzard, the developers of World of Warcraft, recently released a new prop hunt mode called Decor Duel with the latest patch. However, the release was marred by numerous bugs, prompting an apology from the studio for not meeting their usual standards.

In a blog post addressing the issues with patch 12.0.5, Blizzard acknowledged the problems and stated that they are taking steps to prevent similar issues in the future. They emphasized the importance of open communication with the community and pledged to provide timely updates on fixes and known issues.

One of the major issues with the patch was an exploit involving the “track humanoids” ability, which allowed seekers to easily locate hiders in the Decor Duel mode. Additionally, hiders were not receiving rewards if they remained stationary, leading to frustration among players.

As reported by Kotaku’s Rebecca Valentine, Blizzard has been working quickly to address these and other issues with hotfixes and updates. The developers are striving to resolve remaining bugs promptly and evaluate their processes to prevent similar issues in future patches.

Players are hopeful that Blizzard can quickly resolve the remaining bugs and improve the overall experience of Decor Duel mode. By addressing player feedback and implementing necessary changes, Blizzard aims to deliver a more enjoyable and engaging gaming experience for World of Warcraft enthusiasts.
