Apple’s innovative Liquid Glass design has been making waves in the design community, earning the tech giant four prestigious awards from the Art Directors Club (ADC), including a Gold Cube. The ADC Awards specifically recognized the “iOS 26 Liquid Glass” design for the iPhone, highlighting its impact on UI design.

While the transition of Liquid Glass to macOS 26 Tahoe has received mixed reviews from Mac users, the design has been well-received on iOS. Despite initial apprehensions, many users have grown to appreciate the new design after using it for a few weeks. The ADC Awards serve as a testament to the positive reception among designers.

Apple’s success with Liquid Glass extended beyond the Gold Cube, with additional awards in categories such as “Experiential Design” and “Innovation.” The recognition placed Liquid Glass among the top entries in the “Most Awarded Work Rankings” at #27.

Apple’s achievements at the ADC Awards also included recognition for the Apple TV rebranding and various ad campaigns. The tech company has a history of winning prestigious awards, including Black Cubes for standout ads like “Bounce” and “Barbers.”

The ADC Awards, established in 1921, are a longstanding tradition in the art and design industry, recognizing excellence across various disciplines. While many of the awards focus on advertising and digital media, they encompass a wide range of art and design categories, highlighting the diversity of talent in the industry.
