Ahead Health Secures €8.7 Million Investment and Expands to Germany and the Netherlands

Ahead Health, a leading preventive healthcare company based in Zurich, has successfully secured a €8.7 million ($10 million) investment. The funding round was led by venture capital firms 3VC and RTP Global. In a significant move, the company is also launching its services in Germany and the Netherlands, marking its expansion beyond Switzerland.

This recent investment comes on the heels of a previous funding round in January 2026, where Ahead Health raised €5.1 million ($6 million) led by RTP Global.

Nick Lenten, CEO and co-founder of Ahead Health, expressed his excitement about the company’s growth, stating, “We built Ahead in Switzerland to demonstrate that prevention can be rigorous, fast, and effective, and it works. From today, individuals in Munich can schedule a preventive check-up, with the Netherlands opening the waitlist. We are assembling a top-notch team in European prevention, and this is just the beginning.”

Established in 2024 by former Google executives, medical professionals, and healthtech experts, Ahead Health is a pioneering preventive health platform on a mission to provide proactive, personalized healthcare to all.

The company combines cutting-edge blood panels, whole-body MRI scans, and an AI-powered platform that allows each member to input their medical history for a comprehensive, doctor-reviewed check-up. This holistic approach integrates various body perspectives to facilitate more informed decisions and early detection of health issues.

Ahead Health emphasizes repeat testing over time, tracking each individual’s health against their baseline to identify significant changes early on. By translating complex biomarkers into personalized insights, the platform aids in the early detection of conditions like cancer, brain diseases, endometriosis, and cardiovascular issues.

The company boasts that its full-body MRI scan and blood tests can be completed in just 30 minutes, leading to a personalized health plan, all within a digital process.

Since its launch in Switzerland, Ahead Health has established a network of over 20 partner centers and a diverse range of services. The company plans to utilize the recent funding to drive its expansion across Germany and the Netherlands.

Ahead Health’s expansion strategy involves collaborating with local medical professionals, partnering with established clinics, radiology centers, and doctors in new markets. This approach enables the company to deliver high-quality preventive care swiftly while leveraging local clinical expertise.

The company is commencing its expansion with a comprehensive blood test that identifies early signs related to metabolic health, inflammation markers, organ function, and cardiovascular risk, among others. Each test result is carefully reviewed by a licensed doctor and translated into a personalized action plan. Imaging services, such as MRI scans, are set to be introduced soon.

Currently, Ahead Health offers preventive check-ups that can be scheduled in Germany, starting in Munich. In the Netherlands, individuals can join the waitlist, with a full rollout planned for August.
