Unveiling the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series: A Closer Look at the Spy Shots

Recently captured spy shots of the upcoming Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series have revealed a heavily camouflaged prototype, showcasing some intriguing aerodynamic features that hint at the car’s high-performance capabilities.

The front end of the vehicle boasts a compact grille with vertical slats, complemented by additional aero elements on the bumper. A central air scoop on the bonnet, along with small winglets that seem to be part of an active-aero system, add to the car’s aggressive look. The projector headlights with integrated three-pointed-star LED DRLs provide a distinctive touch to the front-end design.

On the sides, large air channels indicate a focus on airflow management. Moving to the rear, the car features a massive fixed wing, an impressive diffuser integrated into the bumper, and sleek LED taillights connected by a black strip. A mesh-like structure surrounding the rear area suggests potential aerodynamic enhancements under testing.

While specific details about the powertrain remain undisclosed by Mercedes, speculations point towards a flat-plane-crank V8 engine that is anticipated to deliver more power than the AMG GT 63 Pro. To surpass its predecessor, the previous GT Black Series generating 720 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, the new model is expected to push performance boundaries even further.
