Devolver Digital Announces Release Dates for Mycopunk and Virtue and a Sledgehammer

Devolver Digital has recently revealed the launch dates for two highly-anticipated games – Mycopunk and Virtue and a Sledgehammer. Both games are set to debut in the latter half of October, offering players unique gameplay experiences.

Virtue and a Sledgehammer Release Date

The narrative-driven game, Virtue and a Sledgehammer, is scheduled to release on October 27th for PC. Players will immerse themselves in a world where they must confront their inner demons by engaging in destructive behavior. From knocking down buildings to crushing robot inhabitants, the game explores themes of trauma and loss.

Earlier this year, Creative Director Jordi de Paco provided insights into the game’s development, emphasizing the balance between action-packed gameplay and emotional storytelling. The game promises to offer a thought-provoking experience for players.

Mycopunk Release Date

On October 20th, Mycopunk will exit Early Access and launch its 1.0 version for PC and PlayStation 5. Priced at £14, or available through PS Plus Extra/Premium, the game invites players to combat a fungal threat in New Atlas. With new content such as weapons, maps, and characters, the 1.0 release promises an enhanced gaming experience.

Having previewed the game’s early demo, critics have praised Mycopunk for its fast-paced gameplay and captivating art style. As the game looks towards a Steam Early Access release, players can expect more regions, missions, and narrative elements to be added in the future.
