Duqu Secures €1.5 Million Funding to Revolutionize Invoice Financing in Amsterdam
Duqu Raises €1.5 Million in Pre-Seed Funding Round
Duqu, a FinTech startup based in Amsterdam, has secured €1.5 million in a pre-Seed round from Curiosity VC and No Such Ventures. The company offers businesses instant access to funds tied up in outstanding invoices, addressing a common challenge faced by many enterprises.
The startup has also developed its own AI underwriting engine, which streamlines the credit assessment process by automating 95% of it. Additionally, Duqu provides its technology as a white-label solution to banks, lenders, and leasing companies, aiming to expand its market reach.
Co-founder Maas de Goede emphasized the importance of quick access to funds for businesses, stating, “Growth cannot wait for an invoice to be paid.”
Established in October 2025 by de Goede, Victor Brouwer, and Diederik Nassenstein, Duqu enables businesses to apply for short-term advances without selling their invoices, offering flexibility in funding options.
With nearly half of B2B invoices in Western Europe being overdue, Duqu’s platform addresses the challenge of delayed payments, providing businesses with a solution to access funds tied up in outstanding invoices promptly.
Unlike traditional factoring services, Duqu allows businesses to maintain control of their customer relationships while receiving advances on their invoices. The process is quick, with funds transferred within 24 hours of approval.
Investor Curiosity highlighted Duqu’s technology as a key enabler for processing smaller credit applications efficiently, catering to businesses with varying credit needs. The AI-driven credit assessment and processing stack developed by Duqu automates a significant portion of the credit evaluation process.
No Such Ventures’ Thijn van Helvoirt commended Duqu’s efforts in automating the credit assessment process, noting its potential applications in leasing, mortgages, and buy now, pay later services.
Since its launch, Duqu has garnered almost 1,500 users and processed €4.6 million in applications, advancing over €1.2 million to businesses in need of immediate funding.
