Introducing PUBG Spin-Off Black Budget: A New Extraction Shooter

Krafton has recently unveiled their latest project, PUBG spin-off Black Budget, just in time for the alpha testing phase scheduled to begin next month. This new game from PUBG Studios focuses on the thrilling experience of escaping dangerous situations after engaging in tactical combat within a hazardous environment.

“Black Budget puts you in the shoes of a Contractor, a skilled operative hired for a confidential mission on a remote island,” as described in the Steam synopsis. The objective? Retrieve top-secret technology from an abandoned research facility on an island plagued by a mysterious time loop phenomenon known as the Anomaly. Players must extract artifacts, analyze their discoveries, and unravel the mysteries surrounding the covert black-budget initiative, SAPIENS.

Imagine being a regular tradesperson armed with a gun, only to find yourself on a top-secret mission in a time-distorted laboratory on an isolated island. To make matters worse, there’s a looming threat of being consumed by a supernatural force known as the Anomaly. Despite the ominous setting, the screenshots on the Steam page showcase intense combat amidst swirling purple chaos, promising an exhilarating gameplay experience.

Krafton ensures that the game world in Black Budget evolves unpredictably with each playthrough, with each session lasting approximately 30 minutes. Similar to classic PUBG battle royales, the Anomaly gradually shrinks the map, intensifying the gameplay experience. In between encounters with the Anomaly, players can upgrade their base and fine-tune their equipment to enhance their chances of survival in the face of the enigmatic purple threat.

PC-exclusive closed alpha tests for Black Budget are scheduled for December 12th-14th and December 19th-21st. Players from North America, Europe, and Asia are invited to participate in these sessions. Those interested can request access via the game’s Steam page.
