Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Revitalized – Insider Info Revealed
Ubisoft to Showcase Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
Ubisoft is set to host an online showcase for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced later today. While details are still scarce, some information about the game has already surfaced.
Amazon France accidentally leaked the collector’s edition of the game for pre-order. Although the pre-order has been taken down, the listing remains online, giving us a glimpse of what to expect in the pack.
The collector’s edition includes a stunning statue of Edward Kenway seated on a throne, a luxurious faux-leather folio containing expedition notes and a map, sheet music, a steelbook, a skull badge, and cosmetic DLC. The price for the collector’s edition is set at $199.99 / €199.99€ / £174.99, while the standard edition will be priced at $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99.
billbil-kun from Dealabs revealed that the game will be available on day one for Ubisoft+ Premium subscribers. The official release date for the game is July 9, 2026.

What to Expect from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
The upcoming remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag promises exciting changes. The game is rumored to have undergone significant transformations, resembling the gameplay style of AC Valhalla. Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson suggests that the presentation will last for 30 minutes during the showcase scheduled for April 23rd at 4PM UTC / 6PM CEST / 9AM PDT.
The gameplay is expected to adopt RPG elements similar to recent titles, featuring loot, weapon stats, and a new inventory system. Combat mechanics will also align with the newer games in the series. While the map size remains the same, players can anticipate more activities to engage in. Additionally, seamless transitions between sailing and land exploration will eliminate loading screens.
Ubisoft has enlisted the expertise of its studios in Singapore, Belgrade, and Bordeaux to work on this ambitious project. Some assets from the canceled game Skull and Bones may have been repurposed to reduce development costs. This move is fitting as Skull and Bones originally stemmed from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag.
