Unleashing the Power: The Genesis Magma GT Super Car

Genesis, Hyundai’s luxury brand, made waves last year with the announcement of its new performance sub-brand, Magma. In addition to enhancing existing models, Genesis is gearing up to launch a mid-engined supercar under the Magma banner.

The highly anticipated flagship Genesis supercar has been teased in the form of the Magma GT Concept, which was recently unveiled to the public.

The Magma GT Concept is a sleek two-door coupe showcasing Genesis’ iconic twin headlamps and a distinctive teardrop-shaped cabin with butterfly doors. Luc Donckerwolke, Genesis’ Chief Creative Officer, describes it as “the epitome of our performance vision and a symbol of our dedication to true motorsport prowess.”

While details about the Magma GT’s powertrain remain scarce, rumors suggest a potent mid-mounted V8 engine.

Genesis has ambitious plans for its halo supercar, including a foray into the world of racing. The company has confirmed its participation in the IMSA SportsCar Championship starting in 2027.
