Unveiling the Lexus LFR: Racing into the Future with Toyota GR GT & GT3
The Toyota GR GT and Lexus LFR Set to Debut at Upcoming Event
Exciting news in the automotive world as the production-spec Toyota GR GT is set to be unveiled this week, with rumors hinting at a possible debut of the Lexus version, the LFR, at the same event. A teaser image released recently showcases both the Toyota GR GT, Lexus LFR, and the GT3 race car.
While both cars are built on the same platform, they will feature distinct exterior designs. The GR GT boasts an LED light bar at the rear, while the LFR showcases L-shaped LEDs around the back. Despite these differences, both vehicles share a similar roofline and an elongated bonnet.
Powering these performance machines will be a twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine, generating an impressive 900 hp in the road-legal models. However, the GT3 race car is anticipated to feature a non-hybrid version of the twin-turbo V8, limited to around 700 hp.
Rumors suggest that the official unveiling of the Toyota GR GT and Lexus LFR will occur at the upcoming event, with pricing and availability details expected to be disclosed in January 2026. Production and sales are projected to commence in September of the same year, creating much anticipation among enthusiasts and potential buyers alike.
