Stowlog: Impulsando la digitalización de la seguridad en la logística portuaria con una inversión de €1M
Stowlog, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform created by the technology consulting firm Estudio Cactus in Castellón, has successfully secured a €1 million investment to drive the digital transformation of safety and security processes within port logistics operations.
The investment round was spearheaded by Draper B1, a venture capital fund affiliated with the renowned Draper Venture Network. First Drop and the technology group Cuatroochenta, both based in Castellón, also participated in this funding round.
Pablo Aguirre, the CEO and co-founder of Stowlog, expressed his enthusiasm about the investment, stating that it marks a significant milestone in establishing Stowlog as a globally recognized solution. The support from Draper B1, First Drop, and Cuatroochenta validates the product and the team, enabling them to expedite their global expansion efforts.
Introduced in 2023, Stowlog is a modular SaaS platform designed to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks for port terminals, logistics facilities, and intermodal hubs by digitizing essential security processes such as access control, visitor management, contractor management, and real-time geolocation tracking.
By leveraging real-time data, geolocation tracking, and 3D visualization, Stowlog offers port facilities valuable insights into on-site activities, including personnel presence, ongoing procedures, and potential risk areas.
Currently operational in more than 15 countries across four continents, Stowlog is utilized at various logistics facilities and terminals managed by industry giants like Maersk, APM Terminals, CMA CGM, and COSCO Shipping. Its deployment spans across prominent ports in locations such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Lázaro Cárdenas (Mexico), Gothenburg (Sweden), and Onne (Nigeria).
The newly secured funding will fuel Stowlog’s international expansion strategy, focusing on team growth, product enhancement, and market expansion, particularly targeting strategic regions in Europe and North America.
Raquel Bernal, Managing Partner Director at Draper B1, commended Stowlog’s exceptional execution, emphasizing the company’s sector expertise, commitment, and resilience. The strong growth potential of Stowlog, combined with the support from Draper B1’s international network, is expected to solidify Stowlog’s position as a leading player in its industry on a global scale.
In conclusion, the future looks promising for Stowlog as it continues to evolve and expand its reach, driven by a proven track record of success and a strong network of support. With a focus on innovation and market expansion, Stowlog is poised for sustained growth and recognition as a top player in the international arena.
