Simplifying Cybersecurity: CybaVerse Secures €5.9 Million Investment to Expand Accessibility and Efficiency

London-based cybersecurity startup CybaVerse has recently announced the successful securing of €5.9 million in Series A funding to propel its growth and enhance product development. This funding round was co-led by Pembroke VCT and Airbridge Equity Partners, with support from Haatch and legal guidance from Culbert Ellis.
Established in 2018, CybaVerse has transitioned from a boutique consultancy to a prominent UK cybersecurity vendor with close to 40 employees and a rapidly expanding clientele. The company’s primary goal is to simplify cybersecurity, making it more efficient and accessible for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
The newly acquired funding will facilitate CybaVerse’s transition into a scalable SaaS growth model, strengthening sales and marketing efforts, expanding the team, and expediting the development of CybaOps, its exclusive cybersecurity management platform.
CybaOps integrates detection, compliance, security, and testing into a single SaaS product tailored for SMEs and MSPs. Its white-label model enables partners to rebrand and resell the platform effectively, aiding them in fortifying defenses and automating essential security processes on a larger scale.
Over the past year, CybaVerse has reported an impressive 180% revenue growth and maintained a 90% customer retention rate. The Series A funding follows a previous round of €1.3 million in 2024 and the acquisition of SecureAck. Additionally, CybaVerse was shortlisted in the CRN Channel Awards 2025 under the “Rising Star Security Vendor of the Year” category.
Oliver Spence, CEO of CybaVerse, expressed enthusiasm about the recent funding, stating, “This investment signifies a new and exciting chapter for CybaVerse. The caliber of investors on board validates our vision to create and deliver innovative solutions that empower MSPs and SMEs. With this funding, we aim to accelerate CybaOps development, enhance AI-driven features, and expand our team to provide smarter, more scalable security solutions to MSPs and SMEs, while remaining committed to our mission of simplifying cybersecurity for all.”
Fred Ursell, Head of Investments at Pembroke Investment Managers, emphasized the importance of cybersecurity for small businesses and praised CybaVerse for bridging the gap by offering enterprise-grade protection through automation. He commended the company for simplifying complex security measures into a simple, scalable, and effective platform.
Robin Rensen, Partner at Airbridge Equity Partners, highlighted the increasing significance of cybersecurity for SMEs and praised CybaVerse for addressing this market gap. He lauded the company for combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of customer needs, resulting in a robust platform that provides comprehensive protection to businesses directly and through channel partners.
Jonathan Keeling, Partner at Haatch, commended CybaVerse for its remarkable growth and product expansion since their initial investment in 2024. He praised the team for building a pioneering platform in the rapidly growing tech sector, expressing excitement about the company’s potential for further expansion.
With the infusion of new investment, CybaVerse aims to solidify its market presence, enhance its platform’s AI-driven features, and continue simplifying cybersecurity for smaller organizations.
