A Paris-based company, ReSoil, is dedicated to supporting farmers in transitioning to agroecological practices. Recently, the company secured €4 million in funding to expand its regenerative agriculture projects and enhance its digital carbon-management platform.

Key participants in this funding round include Banque des Territoires, InvESS Île-de-France Amorçage, and Generali Impact Investment – two funds managed by INCO Ventures.

Co-founder of ReSoil, Grégoire Alston, emphasized the importance of providing farmers with financial visibility and tools to measure and track decarbonization efforts. The company aims to empower French companies to capture carbon in French soils and demonstrate tangible climate impact.

The European AgriTech funding landscape in 2025 is witnessing a significant capital flow into solutions that improve soil health, farm resilience, and environmental performance. Alongside ReSoil, other companies like CroBio and Antler Bio have also secured funding to advance their respective agricultural technologies.

Since its establishment in 2022, ReSoil has been instrumental in supporting agroecological transition across more than 100,000 hectares of land. The company’s projects are expected to reduce or store over 300,000 tonnes of CO₂, showcasing its commitment to environmental sustainability.

ReSoil’s innovative remuneration framework for farmers includes sector-based premiums tied to decarbonization outcomes and the sale of carbon credits to companies committed to climate action and biodiversity preservation.

Looking ahead, ReSoil plans to make significant investments to scale regenerative agriculture projects across France. The company will also focus on expanding its digital platform to provide more farmers with support and streamline the management of carbon projects.

In conclusion, ReSoil’s dedication to empowering farmers, reducing environmental footprints, and generating value from environmental services sets a strong foundation for sustainable agriculture practices in the future.
