Embark on a Cosmic Adventure: Sea of Stars Sets Sail on Mobile Platforms April 7
On April 7, the highly acclaimed indie RPG Sea of Stars will make its debut on mobile platforms. Priced at a mere $10 for both iOS and Android versions, this release offers a significant discount compared to its original price of $35 on PC and consoles.
While this mobile version is not a direct port, it boasts a revamped interface optimized for touch controls. Additionally, players can enjoy seamless gameplay with controller support. The Android version stands out with exclusive features such as Google Play Games achievements and cross-device cloud saves.
Despite the platform change, the essence of the game remains unchanged. Sea of Stars earned recognition as the best indie game at The Game Awards, a testament to its quality and appeal.
This retro-inspired RPG pays homage to classics like Chrono Trigger from the 1990s. Its captivating story, strategic turn-based battles, and stunning art style set it apart as more than just a nostalgic throwback.
While some features from previous versions may not be available in this mobile release, such as multiplayer functionality, the developers may introduce them in future updates. Additionally, the Throes of the Watchmaker DLC is not accessible at launch but may be offered as a separate paid content later on.
