ChatGPT Initiates Ad Testing in the US

ChatGPT is preparing to conduct ad tests in the United States in the upcoming weeks for Free and Go users. The Go subscription costs $8 per month.

The objective is to either reduce usage restrictions or maintain free access for a larger audience without altering the functionality of responses.

However, premium tiers such as Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise will remain ad-free.

Users will have visibility into the reasons for seeing an ad and can dismiss it while providing feedback. However, ads will not be displayed for discussions on sensitive topics like health, mental health, or politics.
