Introducing the Fitbit Edge: Google’s Latest Fitness Tracker

Recently, leaked images and specifications have surfaced for what was initially thought to be the Fitbit Charge 7. However, it has been revealed that Google will be naming it the Fitbit Edge. The reason behind this rebranding decision remains unclear, but more details are expected to be unveiled soon.

Rumors suggest that the Fitbit Edge is set to launch this month. Thanks to Evan Blass, we now have additional images of the wearable device, confirming its name. Positioned between the Fitbit Air and Pixel Watch 5, this new addition is generating a lot of buzz in the tech community.

Among the leaked images, one model in white stands out, indicating that the Fitbit Edge will be available in four color options: White, Black, Olive, and Canyon. Each color variant is likely to feature a different body color, such as Silver, Black, Pyrite, and Champagne Gold respectively.

As we await the official announcement from Google, details regarding the pricing and specifications of the Fitbit Edge remain unknown. However, it is anticipated that the fitness tracker will offer features such as a small oval screen, NFC, GPS, and various sensors including heart rate monitoring. Despite expectations, the Fitbit Edge is not expected to run on Wear OS but is projected to have a battery life of up to 7 days.
