Fans of the popular racing game series Forza Horizon will have to wait a little longer for the highly anticipated Forza Horizon 6, as it has been announced that the game will be launching on PS5 on 26th January 2027, instead of the originally planned release date towards the end of this year.

Pre-orders for Forza Horizon 6 are now live, and players who pre-order will receive a special in-game bonus – a Ferrari J50 to add to their collection. Additionally, there is a Premium Edition available for those who want to get their hands on the game a bit earlier, which includes access to a new expansion on day one. The details of this expansion are being kept under wraps by Playground for now.

Despite the delay, Forza Horizon 6 promises to deliver an exceptional gaming experience. While it may not represent a complete overhaul of the series, the game still offers a vast open-world arcade racing experience, with the added allure of a Japan setting.
