Apple Rumored to Unveil New MacBook Pro and iPad Mini in Late October Event

According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Apple is gearing up to introduce a new MacBook Pro with a touchscreen and an updated iPad Mini around October 27th. This announcement comes just two weeks after the tech giant’s October 13th event, which is said to focus on smart home products.

Bloomberg also mentioned that the upcoming late October event will feature an “online video presentation” along with an “in-person component for the press,” mirroring the format of the October 13th event.

The report further elaborates on what to expect from the Mac and iPad event. Apple is reportedly set to unveil new MacBook Pros that are not only lighter but also equipped with touchscreen OLED displays and iPhone-like Dynamic Island interfaces. Additionally, there are rumors of MacBook Pros retaining the current design but incorporating the M6 chip introduced with the new Mac Mini. As for the iPad Mini, last refreshed in 2024, it is said to undergo updates including shifting the front-facing camera to the landscape side of the tablet and introducing a “revamped speaker system,” as per Bloomberg.
