Thief Steals iPad and Cash from Coffee Shop

In Buffalo, a criminal broke into a coffee shop through an open window, making off with cash and an iPad. The incident led to the temporary closure of Overwinter Coffee in Buffalo’s Elmwood neighborhood.

Buffalo Police have identified a suspect through surveillance footage and have issued a warrant for his arrest. The thief unlawfully entered the shop, stealing around $600 in cash along with the iPad.

Overwinter Coffee, with locations in downtown Buffalo, Kenmore, and Williamsville, posted on social media about the break-in and closure of their Elmwood shop.

Three Arrested for Stealing iPads from Target

Three individuals from the Houston area were apprehended for stealing iPads worth nearly $14,000 from a Target store in Sugar Land, Texas. The suspects were caught on store surveillance cameras breaking a display case, taking the iPads, and attempting to flee.

The trio was intercepted by the police in the store’s parking lot as they were trying to escape in a black passenger vehicle. Two suspects were booked into the Fort Bend County Jail, while the third, a minor, was taken to a juvenile detention center.

Authorities are investigating whether the group is linked to similar thefts in neighboring counties.

AirTag Guides Police to Stolen Truck and 20 Cats

In Tacoma, Washington, a stolen truck containing twenty cats was located using an AirTag. The suspects were found inside the vehicle, and the woman among them had been caring for the cats, though they appeared malnourished and had health issues.

The cats were taken to the Humane Society, which was already overwhelmed with felines following a previous seizure of 101 cats from a Tacoma residence.

AirTag Assists in Arresting Cleveland Carjacker

A 24-year-old man in Cleveland was arrested for carjacking a woman at a gas station, thanks to an AirTag hidden in the vehicle. The culprit confessed to the crime and even wrote an apology letter to the victim.

The suspect, Christian Jones, was charged in federal court with carjacking and using a gun during the incident.
