Munich-based ClearOps raises €8.6 million Series A to build AI operating system for industrial after-sales

ClearOps Secures €8.6 Million in Series A Funding Round

ClearOps, a Munich-based enterprise SaaS startup, has successfully closed an €8.6 million Series A funding round. This funding marks a significant milestone for the company as it embarks on its journey to revolutionize after-sales services for industrial OEMs.

The Series A round was led by Hitachi Ventures, with participation from Schoeller Group and Barkawi Group, marking ClearOps’ first institutional capital raise.

Founder and CEO of ClearOps, William Barkawi, highlighted the increasing pressure on industrial service networks and the need for a more connected and predictive after-sales system. He emphasized the importance of manufacturers and dealer networks being able to predict, coordinate, and execute in real-time to meet rising customer expectations.

ClearOps, founded in 2020, is on a mission to build the AI operating system for industrial after-sales. By connecting OEMs, dealers, service partners, and machines on a single platform, ClearOps enables parts planning, predictive service operations, and real-time coordination across global service networks.

The company’s vision is to transform fragmented after-sales environments into connected, data-driven ecosystems, delivering higher machine uptime, stronger customer loyalty, increased parts sales, and more efficient operations across the service supply chain.

ClearOps serves as the AI operating system for industrial after-sales, helping manufacturers and dealers predict demand, automate critical service workflows, and orchestrate complex parts operations across global networks.

Working with leading industrial manufacturers such as AGCO, Terex, Jungheinrich, and Lippert, ClearOps has reported significant improvements in parts availability, parts sales growth, and reduced repair times.

Hitachi Ventures’ Partner, Pete Bastien, expressed confidence in ClearOps’ ability to redefine the industrial after-sales category by combining AI, data, and execution into one platform. He sees a large market opportunity for ClearOps to lead this transformation.

Headquartered in Munich with operations in Lisbon, Atlanta, and San José, ClearOps is expanding its ecosystem footprint and strengthening partnerships while continuing to invest in AI capabilities to drive automation and orchestration in after-sales operations.
