Unveiling the Enigmatic Alliance: Microsoft’s Secret Collaboration with Discord and Xbox Game Pass
Microsoft Teases New Discord and Xbox Game Pass Partnership
Microsoft has recently hinted at an upcoming partnership between Discord and Xbox Game Pass. This announcement comes just after Microsoft reduced the prices of its Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions. According to Microsoft Gaming CEO Asha Sharma, the collaboration with Discord is aimed at enhancing the flexibility of Game Pass for players.
Although the specifics of the partnership are still unclear, it is expected to bring additional benefits to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Currently, Game Pass Ultimate members receive a month of Discord Nitro as part of their subscription. It is speculated that Microsoft and Discord may offer Nitro Basic or other Nitro features as part of the Game Pass package.
As Microsoft gears up to test these new changes, Sharma has hinted at the upcoming developments. “Some of you might start to see some code in the wild, and we will share more details with you all soon,” she mentioned. Earlier reports indicated that Microsoft is exploring the possibility of bundling third-party services with Game Pass subscriptions. Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters recently discussed potential partnership ideas with Sharma, suggesting a trend towards subscription bundles in the industry.
