Apple Releases iOS 26.4 Beta 1 for iPhone

Apple has recently unveiled the first beta version of iOS 26.4 for iPhone users. Initially anticipated to feature upgraded Siri capabilities, it appears that these enhancements will not be included in this release.

Earlier this year, Apple struck a deal with Google to utilize Gemini AI technology for upcoming Siri improvements that have been in development for the past two years. While the proposed enhancements have been public knowledge for some time, the recent approval to integrate Gemini technology is a new development.

Following the official launch of iOS 26.3, which primarily focused on minor features and adjustments, iOS 26.4 beta 1 has been introduced.

The update introduced a more streamlined process for switching between Android and iPhone devices, as well as modifications to the Astronomy and Weather wallpaper selection. Additionally, a new feature was added for iPhones and iPads equipped with Apple C1 and C1X modems, allowing for the restriction of precise location tracking via cellular data with specific service providers.

Future Updates and Discoveries

As we proceed with updating our devices to Apple’s inaugural developer beta of iOS 26.4, we will closely monitor any changes or enhancements that come to light.
