The OnePlus 15T has been officially confirmed to boast an enormous battery capacity, surpassing that of its predecessor and many competitors. Additionally, it will feature even faster charging capabilities.

Rumors have suggested that despite being a smaller device compared to the OnePlus 15, the OnePlus 15T will house an even larger battery.

OnePlus executive Li Jie Louis has recently confirmed in a detailed Weibo post that the device will sport a massive 7500mAh Glacier Battery.

According to Louis, the aim is to ensure that compact flagship smartphones do not compromise on battery life, with the OnePlus 15T exceeding expectations with its substantial battery capacity.

Utilizing Silicon-carbon (SiC) technology, a feature not yet seen in Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S26 series, the OnePlus 15T promises exceptional battery performance. It is also rumored to include Qi2 magnetic charging.

The charging capabilities of the OnePlus 15T are reported to include support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, setting a new benchmark in the industry.

Bypass charging functionality will allow users to continue gaming while the device is plugged in, without experiencing overheating issues.

Li Jie Louis also revealed that the OnePlus 15T will boast comprehensive waterproofing certifications, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K.

As anticipation builds for the Chinese launch of the OnePlus 15T, recent teasers from OnePlus executives have highlighted upgrades such as a new periscope telephoto lens and ultra-thin bezels. The device is expected to feature a 6.32-inch 165Hz AMOLED display.

While hopes are high for a global release of the OnePlus 15T, last year’s OnePlus 13T was exclusively launched in China.
