Apple releases iOS 26.4 beta 4 for iPhone with upcoming features

Apple has now released the public beta version shortly after the developer beta version was made available.


The latest iOS 26.4 developer beta 4 has been launched. This update follows the release of two versions of the third developer beta. Notable features and changes in iOS 26.4 include updates to Apple Music powered by AI.

Some of the changes expected in iOS 26.4 are:

  • Redesigned Apple Music album and playlist views
  • AI-powered “Playlist Playground” feature on Apple Music
  • Personal Hotspot data usage reports specific to each device
  • And many more enhancements.

Apple is also testing end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging and an improved video podcast experience. iOS 26.4 introduces Stolen Device Detection as a default feature, while progress is being made on iOS 26’s CarPlay video support. Further adjustments were made in iOS 26.4 beta 2 to upcoming changes.
